A Credentials Error (also shown as error code 402) means that the login details stored in WPS LifeStage Money are incorrect or need to be updated. This can happen if you’ve recently changed your password or if your bank requires you to re‑enter your details manually.
How to fix this issue:
- Log out of WPS LifeStage Money.
Then open your bank or provider’s website/app and sign in manually — don’t use any saved or auto-filled passwords. - Log out of your bank site or app, then wait at least 10 minutes.
- Return to WPS LifeStage Money and try to reconnect or re-authorise the account. Again, enter your login details manually.
